Begins Monday Feb. 5 at 6:45 pm – 8 week series.
Lenten Tune-up – The Alpha Team is presenting an 8-week Lenten prep series prepared by Fr. John Riccardo and his ACTS XXIX team out of Detroit called The Rescue Project. With basics similar to Alpha (fellowship, meal, video presentation, followed by small group discussions), it starts with the Bible and goes deeper into areas appropriate for LENT. It offers a compelling proclamation of the Gospel that not only shares it in an attractive and concentrated way but that also offers a way of seeing reality and of making sense of the world, history, and life that is vastly different from the story our modern culture tells.
It offers a series of topics about life’s important questions …
- Why is there something rather than nothing – Created
- Why is everything so obviously messed up – Captured
- What has God done about it – Rescued
- How should I respond – Response
